Introduction of the narrator: Dr. Summaira Mubarik is the first Pakistani to graduate early with honour from Wuhan University in 2.5 years. She is also the first foreign female to establish this trend in China. This accomplishment can be attributed to her outstanding PhD performance. She has published numerous SCI research papers with a total SCI impact factor exceeding 350 and nearly 5000 google citations (H-Index-22), and has served as editor and reviewer for a number of international peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Mubarik is currently a postdoctoral researcher at Wuhan University's Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, School of Public Health.

Life itself propels us to where we deserve to be. All you need is to have a plan, commit to your goals, prepare, be consistent, and have faith. My story serves as an example. After obtaining a degree in Statistics from Pakistan, my plan was to pursue a Ph.D. in Statistics for my postgraduate studies.

The question arose: Where should I go for this? It is undeniable that China is a symbol of ambition, hard work, and global success. Over the years, the relations between Pakistan and China have shown that China is an ideal destination for Pakistani students. In fact, China's remarkable advancements in academia and research have made it the top choice for Pakistani students. Chinese educational institutions have gained worldwide recognition, attracting students and professionals from all over the globe.

Based on the excellent academic resources, global educational standards, friendly Pak-China relations, and, above all, the warmth and hospitality of the Chinese people, I made the decision to study in China. China has undoubtedly become a second home for the people of Pakistan. The China-Pakistan Economic Corridor project has further strengthened and promoted our bilateral relations, creating opportunities for education, research, trade, and social exchange. I am convinced that China is the best place for foreign students to pursue higher education.

China has gained research prestige in nearly all fields of science and humanities. Its achievements have attracted a large number of students from around the world to start their academic careers in China. The China Scholarship Council has made every effort to support and care for foreign students. For me, receiving a CSC scholarship to pursue my Ph.D. in China was a turning point in my life. Furthermore, the 2020 mission statement by the Chinese President regarding economic targets and achievements has made studying the success and well-being of the Chinese people even more intriguing.
