1936年，武汉大学迎来了第一位就读于中国文学系的外国留学生Inmas Jackson女士。2000年8月，武汉大学组建原武汉水利电力大学、武汉测绘科技大学、湖北医科大学，从此学校学科门类更加齐全，科研实力更加雄厚。2014年，武汉大学留学生教育学院与WTO学院合并组建国际教育学院。自1893年以来，在全体师生的共同努力下，武汉大学取得了令人瞩目的高水平办学成就，赢得了广泛的国际声誉。目前，武汉大学已经与53个国家和地区的310所大学、科研机构建立了合作交流关系；在重大传染性疾病防治、红莲型杂交稻、南北极科学考察、GPS全球卫星定位与导航等领域居世界领先水平，并为全世界150多个国家及地区培养了12340名来华留学生。

120年来，珞珈画卷上永远镌刻着校友们的青春风采,昔日同窗永远是校友们心中纯真的美好记忆,学校始终是校友们温暖的家。学校时刻牵挂着你们，学校永远是你们坚强的后盾！

It gives us immense pleasure to continue everlasting ties with you. Hope you are faring well in your job and earning laurels for yourself as well as your families.

In 1936, Wuhan University accepted the first foreign student, Miss Inmas Jackson, into the Department of Chinese literature. Till today, there are 12340 alumni from more than 150 countries and regions having studied in Wuhan University.  We are sure that you will certainly mark these memories in your lives.

The School of International Education plans to provide service and support to alumni through global resources. From 4th January 2021, we have opened the information adapting system for alumni who studied in Wuhan University, shot-term and long-term.

All alumni who need to update your personal information, please visit http://fses-admin.whu.edu.cn/ through your student ID to complete the updating procedure, or fill the form attached and send to the address sie-alumni@whu.edu.cn directly. Welcome enquiries and we will reply your letters as soon as possible!
