2023年4月20日，中外语言交流合作中心与中文联盟以“中文：增进文明对话”为主题，联合举办“国际中文日”庆祝活动。我校积极参与，武汉大学国际教育学院/教学资源研究与开发基地以“春日融融、纸鸢飘飘”为主题组织30余名留学生线下开展了一系列文化体验活动。

On April 20, 2023, the Center for Language Education and Cooperation and the Chinese Language Alliance jointly held the celebration of International Chinese Language Day with the theme of "Chinese Language: Facilitating Dialogues across Civilizations". Wuhan University actively participated in the activities. The School of International Education and the Research and Development Base of Teaching Resources for International Promotion of Chinese Language of Wuhan University mobilized more than 30 international students to carry out a series of cultural experiencing activities under the theme of "Harmonious Spring Day, Kites Flying".

系列一 春日融融 纸鸢飘飘

Series 1 Harmonious Spring Day, Kites Flying

活动伊始，国际教育学院组织了一场别开生面的风筝文化课。首先一首《村居》带着同学们走进了生机勃勃的春天，也激发了学生对“纸鸢”的好奇。随后老师又介绍了我国风筝（纸鸢）的起源、功能、样式和寓意。各国学生畅所欲言，纷纷介绍了各国的风筝文化、风筝娱乐活动等。语言是文化的载体，是沟通的桥梁，也是了解一个国家历史文化的重要窗口。我国风筝古诗词使学生更深入地感受了中华文化的魅力，增进了留学生对中国传统文化的感悟与热爱。

On the very beginning of the event,the School of International Education organized a unique kite culture class. At first, the poem Living in Village House led the students into the vibrant springtime, and inspired the students’curiosity about "kite". After that, the teacher introduced the origin, functions, patterns and implied meaning of Chinese kite (paper kite). Students from all over the world talked freely and introduced, one after another, kite culture and recreational activities of their own countries. Languages are the carrier of culture, bridge of communication, and also an important window to understand the history and culture of a country. Chinese ancient poetries on kites allow students a chance to more deeply feel the charm of Chinese culture, and enhance their perception and love for Chinese traditional culture.

系列二 忙趁东风放纸鸢

Series 2 Flying Kites with the East Wind

简短的介绍后，老师耐心讲解了风筝的制作步骤，学生们兴致勃勃地制作属于自己的风筝。风筝成形后，教师用毛笔在风筝上画了一幅生气盎然的春景图，国画与书法等中华元素的魅力尽显其中。

After a brief introduction, the teacher patiently explained the steps of kite-making, and then students animatedly made their own kites. After the kite took shape, the teacher drew a lively spring scene on the kite with a brush, showing the charm of Chinese elements such as traditional Chinese painting and calligraphy.

在老师的手把手地指导下，学生们发挥想象力绘制自己喜欢的风筝，有的同学描绘出理想的家，有的同学用中文写下自己的名字，画上所在国家的国旗，还有些同学在风筝上写上自己的心愿……每一幅精美的图画中都蕴含着美好的愿景，师生一同前往武汉大学九一二操场，放飞风筝。

Under the guidance of the teacher, students put their imagination into practice. They drew their favorite kites: some described their ideal homes, some wrote their names in Chinese, some paint national flags of their own countries, and some even wrote their wishes on the kite...... Each beautiful picture contained a beautiful vision. Teachers and students went together to 912 Playground of Wuhan University to fly kites.

系列三 参观万林艺术博物馆

Series 3 Visiting Wanlin Art Museum

师生前往万林艺术博物馆，领略珞珈黉风。校史忠实地记录着百年来学校走过的足迹，是学校继往开来的精神基石，也是武大人的宝贵精神财富。展厅里的每一张照片、每一部著作、每一项成果，都展示着学校所取得的辉煌成就。师生们认真观看并热烈讨论交流。一名来自韩国的留学生表示，正是参观了校史馆，她才真切地了解了武汉大学的传承与精神。同时，武大的精神风貌就是中国风貌的一个小小缩影。自强弘毅求是拓新也是中国精神的一个侧面，在国际中文日这个特殊的日子，这份感触尤为深刻。

Teachers and students went to Wanlin Art Museum to appreciate the charm of Luojia. The history of the university faithfully records the footprints of Wuhan University in the past hundred years, which is the spiritual cornerstone of the university to carry forward the past and open up the future, as well as the precious spiritual wealth of the people of Wuhan University. Every photo, every work and every achievement in the exhibition hall comprehensively shows the brilliant achievements of the university. Teachers and students carefully watched, discussed and exchanged with each other warmly. An international student from South Korea said that it was by visiting the History Hall that she truly understood the heritage and spirit of Wuhan University. At the same time, the spirit of Wuhan University is just a small miniature of Chinese spirits. It is also part of Chinese spirits to strive for self-improvement, perseverance, truth-seeking and innovation. On this special occasion of the International Chinese Language Day, this feeling is particularly profound.

此次系列活动以中华传统风筝文化为主线，加深了留学生对中国风筝文化的认识与了解，提升了对中华优秀传统文化的感知，增进了中华文明与世界文明之间的交流，为世界文明互鉴注入了动力！我校将继续开展中文系列活动，以促进中西方文化交流为目的，以弘扬中华优秀传统文化为出发点，培养来华留学生知华友华情结。

With Chinese traditional kite culture as the main line, this series of activities has deepened international students' knowledge and understanding of Chinese kite culture, enhanced their perception of excellent traditional Chinese culture, promoted the exchanges between Chinese civilization and other civilizations, and injected impetus to the mutual learning of world civilizations! Our university will continue to carry out a series of Chinese language activities to promote cultural communications between China and the West, and to carry forward the excellent traditional Chinese culture as the starting point, so as to cultivate international students’feeling of knowing and being friends with China.
